Our team, the East Point Track Club will be representing at Dick lane Velodrome’s first Pro Race Series of the season on Saturday, May 9th…
The Keirin will be presented by No Brakes and Kazane. Pictured below are two EPTC teammates Jardslau ‘Jarek’ Mol and Bill Thomsen, of Thomsen, Ltd. (The new website looks awesome Bill!) Both will be participating in the Keirin, Jarek will be bringing the saddle rail ripping power and Bill will be piloting the durney for each heat.
Jarek will be up against a full field of local and imported talent, including Elite and Masters National & Masters World champion Steve “Hitman” Hill, Lanell “The Rock” Rockmore and his Pennsylvania crew, Collegiate National Sprint Champion, David “Goliath” Espinoza, Team Type 1’s “Blazin’” Joe Eldridge and more. The racing will begin at 3pm with the main events beginning at 6pm. Cost is $5 per person or $10 for the whole family. Or, stop by the shop and pick up one of the fliers pictured above for 2 for 1 admission! Visit www.dicklanevelodrome.com for more info.
We had a rare bird stop by the shop yesterday. It was a Koga Miyata mountain bike of yesteryear, rolling with pure style, yet it was lacking a final fat facet…
This steed is still a work in progress but now one, well two, steps closer to completion. The Fat Franks really set this beast off! Go here for more photos.
Seth brought his latest track frame by. Also fillet brazed and built for speed. Go here for more photos.
