Velo Orange understands that most cyclists don’t race. Their emphasis is on a more relaxed and comfortable style of riding, and on refined bikes that are comfortable. This might not describe Justin’s Level but…
VO Bags are just as at home on a track bike as a rando bike. The VO baguette bag (pictured above) is an under the saddle bag and a mini handlebar bag. It’s got room for a pump, rain shell, tools, tubes, a banana, a wallet, and even a camera. It’s about 30cm x 11 cm. This new version has a third strap that can be attached to your stem or seat post. A light can be clipped to the name strap as well.
The Velo Orange Croissant saddle bag is stitched out of heavy dry waxed canvas and has a stiffener in back to maintain its shape plus a separate pocket for your wallet. The trim and straps are leather. This saddle bag just the right size for a long day’s ride with room for a tool kit and spare tube, a rain jacket, a wool cap, a small camera, a cell phone, and snacks. If your rain jacket gets wet you can secure it under the extra long top strap. Despite the volume it’s fairly narrow and tapered toward the bottom so it won’t rub your legs.
We also just got a shipment of silver MKS GR-9s. Man. We haven’t had ’em in silver in a long time! Get em while they’re hot.
More new goods from MKS: the new deep steel clips. These are for all you jokers that aren’t styling Vans Eras everyday. But, we won’t guarantee that these will fit but they will accommodate most sneakers.
We also restocked on Soma tribute saddles. We see em as paying homage to some classic saddles not knock off’s. You decide.
Stay tuned for the report on the Lake Allatoona red top mountain park rando trip! Yurt!!
