Sopo Bicycle Cooperative has commissioned the painting of more than a dozen bicycle frames by local artists for its second Art Bike Show. These artists, including familiar names such as Evereman, Charlie Smith and Olabad have been asked to use the bicycle frame is their canvas and create unique, buildable and rideable art. The frames were received as donations and will be on display for silent auction to raise funds for the organization. Several restaurants and coffee shops around Atlanta will be showcasing this artwork throughout the month of September in support of Sopo.
Find out about the artists and see the fantastic frames they have created. Check out the frames at the local businesses that are contibuting to SoPo’s Art-Bike show. Do you want to own one, you can bid on a frame. And follow Art-Bike happening on its own blog.
