PUSHBIKE San Francisco

I saw the above drawing by Grant of The Gross Unkle on Pedal Consumption yesterday

and I thought to post some photos from when I was able to visit Pushbike earlier this year.

I knew that while I was in SF I would need to make it down to the Mission and check out Pushbike.

I had seen several photos of this treasure trove and was certain it’d be amazing in person.

It was.  A veritable cycling memorabilia bonanza with treats from back in the day to modern accessories.

Sarah Murder, the owner of Pushbike, has successfully created a single stop for one of kind velo goodies.

From the rarest from the rare to daily riding essentials.  This boutique has all the bases covered.

The collection of vintage jerseys on hand spared you months of listless Ebay searching.

All of em were sick!

If you are ever in SF I suggest you make it a point to stop by and pick up a one of a kind gift for that

special cyclist in your life.  And one for yourself!

Sarah also helps run Cupid Courier Collective & Team Murder.

As the 2006 Female Cycle Messenger World Champion, 2006 Female Cycle Messenger National Champ,

Current Female Cycle Messenger Skid Champ, and many other victories over the years,

Sarah will surely be a force to reckon with along with the rest of Team Murder at this year’s NACCC.

It was nice to meet you and I look forward to hanging out when you’re in town later this year for NACCCs!

Stop by pushbikesf.com and check out the shop’s blog.

More photos from my SF trip are here. [5/23 EDIT] Congrats on the Best Bike Fashion Award!
