Above: No Brakes x Hess Dogs team rider Skip Town wearing rival shop, AVX’s, jersey. Skip earned the most points overall in his division last nite. Here are the results . If anyone takes or took pictures at the track email them to us so we can post them!
The recently certified racers were out in force on Tuesday as well!
Austin Crenshaw, above on the Pista Concept, took the majority of the points that night. This Tuesday is pursuits, see everyone there!
Our friend Kyle, who is teaching in Thailand currently, got rear ended by a dump truck recently. More info here. He will be ok but did sustain two vertebrae fractures and, of course, some gnarly road rash. We wish him well and a quick recovery. No Brakes will be getting a care package together to mail to him very soon. Let us know if you would like to contribute!
In Other News:
~We have more Kazane frames on the way!
~Along with Kazane hubs, cranks and chrome undrilled track forks, both threaded and threadless.
~Debernardi’s are back in production! Very much the same frame that Skip rides, yet now only in blue and threadless. 1″ threadless though, so one could go the quill route as well.
~We also have new receipts on the way… Worth mentioning because you will be seeing A LOT more unicorn references in the near future!
Final note:
Twotone’s lock was cut by Georgia State University staff on Tuesday. Skip, by a stroke of pure luck, saw them preparing to drive off with the bike and intervened. The bike was locked to a trashcan outside of Aderhold on Broad st, a trusty spot to lock for three years running. Not anymore. If you lock up near or on GSU campus: Look Out!
