This past weekend Georgia’s International Horse Park in Conyers played host to the first ever, Southeast Bike Expo.
I was able to attend for several hours Sunday and immediately regretted not spending ALL day Saturday and Sunday at the show. It was impressive how well organized, attended and equipped this expo was. Vendors came from all over and it added up to variety that highlighted all aspects of the cycling industry.
I grabbed some highlights below:
Made in USA Profile MTB hubs (where were you guys?) owned by my bud Aaron of Maxxis Tire.
The inside an Industry 9 Hub
and the outside!
An old cruiser rollin radial
Some Shimano bling & Tony shredding a rental below
A new cruiser
Roundtail Bikes
me getting artistic on the Roundtails
Super smokin Stanridge bringin the NAHBS artistry to the show.
The Stan’s booth
And Mr. Zukas himself admiring his amazing work which would have easily won best in show. These frames are made in Augusta, GA!
There’s lots more photos over on flickr.
I’m super stoked on this event and it served an indicator as to how excited the community and industry is to get behind such an event here in the Southeast. I look forward to next year!
